For this year's summer reading, each student will read a book or books that discuss a real or fictional journey. You may choose one on your own, or you may choose from our list of suggested titles. Please note that all of these books are written for high school students, and may contain mature content.
Follow the guidelines below to determine what you should read for your 2017-2018 English class. Upon your return to school, you will be asked to apply your knowledge of these books by writing an in-class essay. The prompt will be given to you by your teacher. Therefore, students are expected to annotate their books in whatever format they choose.
