Sarah Forfa, M.Ed

MSLA Co-Director, Western Region

2018 MSLA President's Award Recepient

Ms. Forfa is in her second year as librarian at South Hadley High School. She is a MA licensed Library Teacher K-12, and holds a Master of Education from Cambridge College as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She currently serves as one of the Massachusetts School Library Association Co-Directors for the Western region, and is a certified Level 1 Google Educator.

The library is the true heart of the school. In addition to managing the daily library operations, technology, and collections, Ms. Forfa collaborates with teachers to support the curriculum and help students develop crucial research and information literacy skills. She enjoys teaching students how to become better information users and creators, and supports classroom projects with face-to-face instruction and custom online guides. She also loves to chat about books and reading!
