Stage 1 Overview: Getting Started/Information Gathering

1. Develop your research question. Brainstorm background knowledge about this time period.

2. Gather further information about your reformer from resources available in the library.

   Information will be gathered in Noodle Notecards.

3. Formulate a thesis: an answer to your research question

Stage 2 Overview: Research phase

1. Finalize Thesis

2. Continue to Create Notecards using Noodle Tools

3. Look for more information that relates to your thesis. This info may support or refine your

   thesis. Any contradictory information that is found may be used within your

   counterargument.

4. Organize supporting evidence into an outline (optional)

Stage 3 Overview: Writing phase

1. Write a first draft of your paper that includes your In-Text citations and Works Cited

2. Peer Thesis Consultation and Analysis (if time permits)

3. Revise and edit first draft to produce a final draft
