Summer Reading 2023

One School, One Theme

For this year’s summer reading, each student will read and respond to a book or books that discuss(es) how people from different groups (culturally, racially, socioeconomically, religiously, etc) achieve their dreams.  A list of recommended titles from our librarian, Ms. Pronovost, can be found in this guide.

Note: All of these books are written for young adults or adults and may contain mature content.

Check the requirements for the full assignment.

You can access e-books and audiobooks through Sora - our collection of suggested books can be found here. (Please note that not all titles are available.) If you haven't used it before, log in with your ID number and shhs as your PIN (you can change it once you've logged in). You can also access e-books through CW MARS Overdrive or the Boston Public Library.

As always, you can borrow books from the South Hadley Public Library.

If you'd like to buy your books, support The Odyssey Bookshop in town!
