Summer Reading 2025

One School, One Theme

For this year’s summer reading, each student will read and annotate a book or books that spark joy for you. This may mean a book about a topic that interests you, a book by an author that you like, or a book set in a location that you love. You may choose one on your own, or you may select from our list of possible titles which can be found here in this guide.

Note: These books are written for young adults or adults and may contain mature content.

Check the requirements for the full assignment.

You can access e-books and audiobooks through Sora - our collection of suggested books can be found here. (Please note that not all titles are available in all formats.) If you haven't used it before, log in with your ID number and shhs as your PIN (you can change it once you've logged in). You can also access e-books through CW MARS Libby or the Boston Public Library.

As always, you can borrow books from the South Hadley Public Library.

If you'd like to buy your books, support The Odyssey Bookshop in town!
